PERRY TOWNSHIP, is composed of only eighteen sections; the remaining eighteen of the original congressional township being in the adjoining county of Crawford. The extended history of Jefferson that we give in another part of this atlas will apply in some respects to Perry, for they were originally one and the same precinct in the old frontier times.
