Griffith JOHNS, Rachel NAIL, Mary HUGHES, David JOHNS, Isaac JOHNS, Robert JOHNS, Hannah JOHNS, Jane JOHNS, William JOHNS, Lovey JOHNS, Rachel JOHNS, Barbara JOHNS, Sally Maria JOHNS, Peter JOHNS, Maria JOHNS, Margaret Ann JOHNS, Mathilda Jane JOHNS, Elizabeth JOHNS, Julia JOHNS, Mary JOHNS, Philip JOHNS, Elizabeth JOHNS, David JOHNS Jr., Malinda JOHNS, Robert JOHNS, Phoebe JOHNS, Sarah JOHNS, Matilda JOHNS, Lydia JOHNS, Almira JOHNS, Christina JOHNS, William McNULTY, Sylvester WEST, and Sarah WEST, defendants.

*The above mentioned defendants are, I believe, the children and grandchildren of Thomas John/Johns, Sr. & Mary Magdalena (Stickle) John/Johns. Thomas, Sr. was born 12 July 1764 in Wales, died 28 Jan. 1848 in Madison Twp., Richland Co., Ohio. Mary Magdalena was born 1765, died 15 May 1848 in Madison Twp., Richland Co., Ohio. They were both buried in the David John/Johns Burying Ground on Lucas Rd., Rt. 39 south which is now known as Lantz-Beer Cemetery. Their son was David John/Johns, Sr. After David died in 1889 he didn't want to be buried there, so he had 8 members of his family, including his parents, dug up from there and reburied in Mansfield Cemetery in Lot. 30, Block 9.
