The Hale family held its annual reunion Christmas at the home of R.A. Glessner and wife of West Bloom Street.  About 30 people were present and the day was very pleasantly spent.  The turkey dinner was an excellent one and thoroughly enjoyed.

The following people were present:  Hiram Smith and wife;  J.C. Hale, wife and daughter Jessie;  Hugh Hale, Jr. and wife;  Mrs. Emma Glessner;  E.B. Caldwell, wife and sons, Hiram and Edward;  Ward Smith, wife and daughters Clara and Blanche;  Delmont Hout and wife;  Joseph Hale, wife and son Edward;  Everett Hale;  R.A. Glessner, wife and sons, Sherman and Russell.
