Bellville.  Married, on the evening of the 14th. inst., at the Presbyterian parsonage, by Rev. W.W. Anderson, Mr. Philip Fox and Miss Ollie Hendrickson, both of this city.

Bellville.  Miss Josie, daughter of A.H. Condict, was married the 10th. instant to Mr. Frank Carpenter, at her parents residence, in Mansfield.  Her husband is the Washington correspondent of the Cleveland Leader.

Married, at the Lutheran parsonage, Plymouth, Wednesday evening, Jan. 17th., by Rev. G.W. Miller, Mary Lycurgus Reid, of this place, and Miss Julia E. Brumback of the first named village.

Bellville.  Married, on the evening of Tuesday, Jan. 23rd., at the Presbyterian parsonage, by Rev. W.W. Anderson, Mr. Samuel Garrett, Jr., and Miss Lizzie Dunshee, both of the vicinity of Lexington.

Independence.  This week we have the pleasure of announcing the marriage of our much esteemed landlady, Mrs. Catharine Crowner, to Mr. Robert Phleck, of Iowa.  The event occurred Sunday evening at the Hotel, Rev. S.S. Fleming performing the ceremony.

Bellville.  A pleasant wedding occurred at the residence of the bride's father, J.F. Shafer, a few miles west of town, Wednesday evening, Jan. 24th., at 8:30 o'clock, Mr. Thomas J. Baker and Miss Nortie Shafer being the contracting parties.

The moonlit beauty of the evening of the 21st. of February, was thoroughly appreciated by the large circle of friends and neighbors who gathered in the pleasant home of Mr. & Mrs. Lyman Andrews to witness the marriage of their daughter Sade to Mr. J.H. Fulton

Bellville.  Married, at the Presbyterian parsonage, on the 25th. of Feb., by Rev. W.W. Anderson, Mr. Abijah C. Hamilton of this vicinity, and Miss Mary L. Baker, of the vicinity of Woodberry. 

Independence.  Married, at the residence of the bride's parents, Tuesday evening, Feb. 20th., Jack Nicholis to Ellen Garber.

08 March 1883, Vol. 6, No. 23

Bellville.  Mr. William Lanehart, Jr., and Miss Lena Hartenfelts were married at the residence of the bride's parents on Thursday, Mar. 1st. at 12 o'clock, the ceremony being performed by the pastor of the German Reformed church in the presence of fifty guests, after which a sumptuous dinner was served.

Will P. Bloom, of Shelby, and Miss Ruth Rice, of Wilkesbarre, Pa., were married at the first named place a few evenings since.  The wedding was a brilliant one.

Bellville.  Mr. Frank Ruhl and Miss Lorana Walters, of Perry Township, were married July 5th., by Rev. S.M. Cook.

Bellville.  Married, at the Lutheran parsonage, July 5th., by Rev. J.W. Kapp, Mr. J.W. Myers and Miss Mary C. Garber.

Bellville.  The most interesting social event transpiring in this village for sometime was the marriage of Mr. D. Arnold Lanehart and Miss Nora Shafer, Wednesday evening, July 18th.  <a further account of this marriage can be found in the source paper>

Independence.  John Henry Hoeflich and Malinda Ginder were married at the residence of Martin Miller, by Rev. S. Kilhefner, of Ashland, Sunday.

13 September 1883, Vol. 6, No. 50

Bellville.  The marriage of Mr. Ashley E. Lyons, of Willoughby, to Miss Ida M., youngest daughter of Mr. Hiram Charles, of this village, took place at the residence of the bride's parents on last Thursday evening, Sept. 6th., Elder H.N. Allen, of North Fairfield, O., officiating.  The wedding guests were so numerous that the ceremony had to be performed on the lawn in front of the house, which was gaily lighted with Chinese lanterns.

Bellville.  On Wednesday evening of last week a house full of relatives and friends were invited to the home of Mr. and Mrs. Wright Geddes to witness the marriage of their daughter Lavina to Mr. John M. Armstrong.  <a further account of this marriage can be found in the source paper>

20 September 1883, Vol. 6, No. 51

Bellville.  The marriage of William Strausbaugh, of Lexington, and Miss Silva E. Andrews, of this vicinity, on the 13th. inst., at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Jacob Andrews, was quite a social event.  [W.W. Mr. Charles Martin, of Fredericktown, and Miss Mary E. Clever, of Independence, were married at the last named place Sept. 25th., by Rev. S.E. Rife.

Independence.  We have a good grist of marriages to notice this week, which shocked us very much on account of their suddenness.  Wm. Sowers and Emma Stelts, Charley Martin and Mary M. Clever, Marsh Rife and Ella Neer, are the happy couples.  May their joy be full, and success in life's unforeseen their fortune.

Independence.  Eli Pitts, of Monroe Twp., and Miss Alice Ottinger, of this place, were married at the Albright parsonage by Rev. S.E. Rife, last Tuesday.

Bellville.  Married, at the Lutheran parsonage, Nov. 20th., by Rev. J.W. Knapp, Mr. Davis M. Ruhl and Miss Ada Thuma, both of Darlington.

Independence.  Married, at the residence of the bride's parents, on Grant St., B.W. Drake, of Black Creek, to Miss Nora McCready, by Rev. S.E. Rife, Thursday evening, Nov. 22nd.

Mr. Anthony Cates and Miss Frances Loney, of Newville, were married at the Probate office, Mansfield, Dec. 13th., by Dr. Bronson.

Bellville.  Mr. Douglass Oyster and Miss Clara Garber were married at the Universalist parsonage the 19th. inst., by Rev. H.L. Canfield.

Independence.  Married, the 20th. inst., at the bride's residence, Mr. Ithamar Shaffer and Miss Anna Downing, by Rev. S.E. Rife.
