Mr. Emanual Kimmel formerly from near Shelby, died after an illness of only eight days, of heart disease, near Fostoria, on Tuesday, May 18th., in the sixty-ninth year of his age.

Mr. Boals the present Commissioner, is a candidate for re-nomination at the Democratic Primary elections to be held on June 5th.  Mr. Conrad Englehart of Lexington, Troy Township, where both reside, is his only competitor. 

Mr. Stutely Gipson, residing west of Plymouth, died on Friday, May 14th., aged about 69 years. 

Mr. Pfleiterer is putting up a second story on his bakery and dwelling.  This shows that he is prospering, and he deserves it.

We learn that F.A. Ott intends visiting Germany in a short time, in company with George V. Ott, formerly of Shelby, now residing in Madison, Wisconsin.

MARRIED, Mr. Wm. A. Keener and Miss Lydia Paul at the residence of the bride's father, on the 26th. inst., by Elder J.W. Lowe.
