Clayton Studybaker and F.C. Platt, both formerly employees of this office, are on a visit to their Shelby friends. Both look well and hearty.

The infant daughter of C.E. & E. Richardson, died on the 13th. inst.

John Miller, a prominent citizen and Railroad man of Crestline, died very suddenly on Saturday morning, Sept. 4th.

DIED, Catherine Tooker was born in Bedford Co., Pa., on July 19, 1802, and died September 5, 1875, aged 73 years, 1 mo. and 14 days.

DIED, William Tooker was born in the state of New Jersey, April 29, 1799. Died October 24, 1874, aged 73 years, 5 months and 24 days.

The above couple were married Jan. 11th., 1820 in Muskingum Co., Ohio. They afterwards removed to Richland Co., and settled about three miles south of Ganges, on the Mansfield road. At this place they both became members of the Methodist Episcopal Church, and were connected with a class which held its meetings in a school house not far from where the Franklin Church now stands. This class was organized about forty years ago. And after the church at Franklin was built, it served as a nucleus around which to form a church, which seems to be in a prosperous condition now. But two of the old pioneer class survive. One by one they have been gathered home. The funeral services of both father and mother Tooker was attended by the writer on the 6th. inst. at the above named church. Quite a large concourse of friends and relations from this and adjoining counties were present to pay the last tribute of respect to these departed loved ones. -- O.H.R.
