A boy aged about twelve years, of Mr. J.C. Bower, residing in the western part of Crestline, fell from a hickory tree last Thursday, and died Monday morning of this week.

S.F. Stambaugh has been appointed collector for Shelby and Shiloh for the Richland County Business Men's Union.

DIED, Barbara, wife of Mr. John Shames was born in Zarnheim, Germany. Died at Ganges, Ohio, October 8th., 1875. The departed came from the Fatherland a few years ago, and was from an early life a zealous member of the Roman Catholic church. For over a year she was a great sufferer. Funeral from her late residence conducted by the writer and her mortal remains buried at Ganges. -- N.H.L.
