A.C. Welch, of Springmills, another of the old pioneers of Richland, died at his house on Oct. 28th.  He has been lingering several weeks with inflammation of the kidneys.  Mr. Welch was very extensively known as an auctioneer, having gained the reputation of being the best in the county.

MARRIED, By Rev. N.H. Loose, at his residence Oct. 27th., Mr. Z.H. Curtiss of near Shiloh, and Miss Joanna C. Lindsey, of Rome, Ohio.

MARRIED, By Rev. N.H. Loose, at his residence, Oct. 30th., Mr. J.H. Hisey, and Miss Jennie L. Lybarger, both of Ganges, Ohio.

DIED, Max N., infant son of Dr. I.A. Myers, was born October 24th., died Oct. 30th., aged 6 days.  Appropriate funeral services were held at his burial on last Sunday afternoon.  -- N.H.L.

The body of a dead man was found in John F. Hartman's woods, four miles south-east of Shelby, on Monday last.  An inquest was held, the result of which we will report when known.

Hon. A.C. Kile, formerly Representative from Richland County, buried his oldest son a few weeks ago at Newville, this county.  He moved to Vandalia, Ill. several years ago, where his son died on Oct. 16th.

DIED -- Miss Eve. Adams, was born in Bedford Co., Pa., in 1814, died at Van Wert, O., Oct. 28th., aged 61 years.  Many years ago she united with the Reformed Church at Rome, O., during the ministry of Rev. S.B. Leiter, and continued faithful until the end.  Her remains were buried at Rome in connection with funeral services.
