03 Jan. Ira McCoy filed bond of $1,300 and was appointed guardian of Olive B. McCoy, aged 12 years, minor child of Bertha I. McCoy, deceased.
Application to admit will of Anna C. Rindfuss to probate.
Friday.  In Probate court today, Louis Beilstein, a native of Germany, who came to this country in August, 1885, took out his final naturalization papers and will hereafter vote the Democratic ticket.
Monday.  Saturday afternoon Ambrose B. Moore, administrator of the estate of J.C. Terman, deceased, filed an application in Probate Court to have the estate of the decedent declared insolvent, stating in his application that the personal estate of Terman amounts to only $5,000 and the real estate to $500, the costs of the administration of the estate will amount to $1,500, while the liabilities are $7,860.63.  A number of the estate's heirs made application today to have Mr. Moore removed as administrator.  The application was heard today.
10 Jan. Application was made to admit will of Hugh Hale to probate.
Will of Moses Bilestein admitted to probate.  Solomon Spear filed bond of $2,000 and was appointed executor.
Today in Probate Court Chas. E. Blessin and wife, who live ten miles southeast of this city, adopted the child of Mary D. Hills, of Plymouth, which was abandoned in this city by the mother and L.M. Paine.  The child has been in the care of Sheriff & Mrs. Tressel for some weeks.  The Sheriff today placed in the Mansfield Savings Bank $100, which will remain in that institution and draw interest until the child is 21 years of age.  The remainder of its money will be used to pay the doctor bills and other expenses.  The child has been well taken care of since it has been in Mrs. Tressel's hands and is now healthy and robust.  Its name was today changed from Roy Hills to Roy Blessin.
17 Jan. Will of Anna C. Rindfuss admitted to probate.  Michael Ackerman filed bond of $800 and was appointed administrator

Application made to admit will of David Hughes to probate.
Will of Hugh Hale admitted to probate.  Henrietta M. Hale appointed executrix without bond.
Will of Jacob Cline admitted to probate.  Jacob Cline, Jr. and Samuel Light filed bond of $10,000 and were appointed administrators.
Will of David Hughes admitted to probate.  Fanny and James Hughes filed bond of $1,000 and were appointed executors.
24 Jan. Daniel Riggle, of Bellville, filed bond of $150 and was appointed administrator of the estate of Minnie F.E. Jones.
Will of Peter Strausbaugh admitted to probate.  Elizabeth Strausbaugh and T.W. Strausbaugh appointed executors without bond.
Application to admit will of Peter Strausbaugh to probate.
Ann Hogan filed bond of $3,000 and appointed guardian of Lawrence L. Baker, minor child of Ann O. Baker, deceased.
31 Jan. Samuel B. Klippelt and Sarah Klippelt filed bond of $9,000 and were appointed administrators of the estate of Anthony Klippelt.
Will of Mary Jane Cotter admitted to probate.  A.A. Douglass filed bond of $2,500 and was appointed executor.
07 Feb. In Probate Court yesterday evening Charles Spetky, a native of Austria, who came to this country in April, 1882 and Jacob Hunzinger, a native of Switzerland, who came to this country in January, 1884, took out their final naturalization papers and are now citizens of the United States.
T.B. Martin appointed guardian of Amelia Pittenger, an insane person, now in the Dayton Asylum for the Insane, child and legatee under the will of Nathaniel Pittenger, deceased.  Bond furnished in the sum of $2,000.
14 Feb. Friday.  John Conrad Sulzer, a native of Switzerland, who came to the United States in June, 1883, yesterday took out his final naturalization papers.
21 Feb. Tuesday.  In Probate Court today, Jacob L. Leuthner filed bond of $2,400 and was appointed guardian of John Calhoun, an imbecile, who lives about a mile east of the city.
Wednesday.  Moses Hershman, a native of Russia, who came to this country in August, 1885, took out his final naturalization papers Monday.
In Probate Court this afternoon John C. and Frank Calhoun made application for the appointment of a guardian for their father, John Calhoun.  Last Tuesday night the old gentleman's house burned, he escaping only by the heroic effort of his son, John.  The later was severely burned about the face and hands.  The old gentleman, who is over 80 years of age, has not been of sound mind for several years and particularly since the last misfortune overtook him.  He lives about one and one-half miles east of the city.
Barney Beverstock, administrator de bonis non, today received orders to sell the Thos. Cook farm, consisting of 148 acres, near Lexington.
W.W. Skiles appointed guardian of Marion W. Trago, Harry D. Trago and Maud A. Trago, aged 18, 15 and 10 years respectively, minor children of Vincent T. Trago, deceased.  Bond $500.
Application made to probate will of Mary Kerr.
Thomas Willett appointed administrator of the estate of Wenafried Burrell.  Bond filed in sum of $2,200.
T.B. Martin appointed guardian of Minnie A. Martin, Roeliff Brinkerhoff Martin, aged 16 and 13 years respectively, legatees under the will of Nathaniel Pittenger.  Bond filed in sum of $2,200.
28 Feb. Geo. Bloom filed bond of $500 and was appointed guardian of Edmund C. and Sadie A. Bloom, aged 18 and 16 years respectively, minor children of Lydia Ann Bloom.
John Krause filed bond of $6,500 and was appointed administrator of the estate of Mary Zwifel, deceased.
Application to admit will of John B. Netscher to probate.
Application made to admit will of David Jaques to probate.
Mary J. Bowman filed bond of $500 and was appointed administratrix of the estate of Henry C. Bowman.
Wm. O. Bloom filed bond of $1,000 and was appointed administrator of the estate of Lydia A. Bloom.
Will of Fred Lantz admitted to probate.  Samuel Engwiler filed bond of $3,400 and was appointed administrator.
Elias W. Morthland filed bond of $300 and was appointed guardian of Albert and Lovie Morthland, aged 16 and 7 years respectively, minor children of Rachael Morthland.
Application to admit will of Elizabeth Stoffer to probate.
Adolph B. Dittenhoefer appointed guardian of James R. Klippelt, aged 19, minor and legatee of Anthony Klippelt, deceased.  Bond filed in sum of $2,500.
Mary Jane Robinson, filed bond of $5,000 and was appointed administrator of the estate of Urias Robinson.
Wednesday.  In Probate Court yesterday evening, Frank Hochscheid, a native of Bavaria, who has been in this country three years, took out his first naturalization papers.
Saturday.  In Probate Court this afternoon Alice M. Carleton was appointed guardian of Alice May Carleton, aged 8 years, minor child of Samuel P. Carleton.  Bond filed in the sum of $700.
Application made to probate the will of Frederick Lantz.
07 March Tuesday.  Edward Donnellan, a native of Ireland, who came to this country, March 2d., 1886, took out his final naturalizations papers in Probate Court today.
John Harrison filed bond of $4,000 and was appointed administrator of the estate of Samuel Scott.
James C. Laser filed bond of $120,000 and was appointed executor of the estate of John B. Netscher.
David L. Balliett filed bond of $700 and was appointed guardian of Jas. W. Barr, aged 18, legatee of Frederick Barr.
David Yockey and Jacob Gilger filed bond of $8,000 and were appointed administrators of the estate of John Yockey, deceased.
J.J. King filed bond $2,648.76 and was appointed guardian of Anson H. Smith, aged 17, minor heir of Julia A. Smith.
14 March Application made to admit the will of Amanda M. Chew, deceased, of Bloominggrove Township.
Wednesday.  Charles Wolfe, aged 21, a native of Bavaria, who came to this country Dec. 12th., 1885, took out his final naturalization papers in Probate Court yesterday and will now vote the Democratic ticket.
Friday.  Peder Odsen, aged 30, a native of Norway and Sweden, who came to this country in August, 1883, took out his final naturalization papers in Probate court yesterday evening.
Will of David Jaques admitted to probate.  Edwin Mansfield filed bond of $6,000 and was appointed executor.
Daniel S. Faulkner filed bond of $2,500 and was appointed administrator of the estate of George Faulkner.
21 March Elizabeth Jones filed bond of $100 and was appointed guardian of Daniel E. Jones, aged 18, Garfield A. Jones, aged 10, and Beatrice Jones, aged 9, minor children of D.S. Jones.
Jane Furney filed bond of $50 and was appointed guardian of Jerry Furney, aged 16, minor child of Wm. Furney.
A.C. Stewart, of Lexington, filed bond of $1,600 and was appointed administrator of the estate of Jane Cracroft, deceased.
Tuesday.  Joseph Maier, a native of Germany, who came to the U.S. in April, 1882, took out his final naturalization papers in Probate court this afternoon.
Friday.  In Probate court yesterday afternoon, Joseph Grahol, a native of Hungary, who came to this country in January, 1880, and Joseph Fobean, also a native of Hungary, who came to this country in February, 1883, took out their final naturalization papers and will hereafter add two to the already large Democratic majority of the county.

Will of A.A. Curran admitted to probate.  D.B. Slabaugh and Geo. W. Post filed bond of $1,000 and were appointed executors.

04 April Louisa Snyder filed bond of $2,500 and was appointed guardian of Annie L. Snyder, aged 16, and Geo. W. Snyder, aged 12, heirs-at-law of W.H. Snyder, deceased.
Peter Hout filed bond of $2,000 and was appointed administrator of the estate of Joseph Hout.
Tuesday.  James McCleary, a native of Scotland, who came to this country in May, 1888, took out his first naturalization papers in Probate court yesterday afternoon.
Tuesday.  An application was made in Probate court this morning to hold an inquest of lunacy on Thos. Wright, formerly drummer in the American band.  The hearing was set for Thursday morning.  Wright has been in Cleveland for several weeks and while up there exhibited unmistakable signs of lunacy and was brought back to this city last evening by his brother.  After the application was made, the hearing being postponed, Wright was placed in charge of Sheriff Tressel, who will keep him in the county jail until Thursday.
Thursday.  Carl Kalkstein, a native of Germany, who came to this country in November, 1884, took out his final naturalization papers in Probate Court yesterday afternoon.
Saturday.  George Krohmer, a native of Germany, who came to this country July 1st., 1881, took out his final naturalization papers in Probate Court yesterday afternoon.
Monday.  George Knell and Jacob Frank, natives of Germany, who came to this country in April, 1888, took out their first naturalization papers in Probate Court, Saturday evening.
Francis M. Kerr, of Bucyrus, filed bond of $8,300 and was appointed administrator of the estate of William Kerr, deceased.
Application made to admit will of Abraham Long to probate.
11 April A.C. Stewart filed bond of $1600 and was appointed administrator of the estate of Jane Cracraft.
Saturday.  Charles W. Landon, a native of Germany, who came to this country in April, 1886, took out his final naturalization papers in Probate Court yesterday.
Monday.  Frederick Beer, a native of Switzerland, who came to this country in August, 1867, took out his final naturalization papers this forenoon and voted the Democratic ticket at the township polls.
18 April Application to admit will of Susannah Marker, deceased, to probate.
Will of Abraham Long admitted to probate.  Jackson Long and John L. Swank filed bond of $5,000 and were appointed executors.
A.G. Dickerson, of Shelby, filed bond of $3,000 and was appointed administrator of the estate of Catharine Thrush.
J.C. Fenner, of Shiloh, filed bond of $3,000 and was appointed administrator of the estate of Lafayette M. Davis.
