04 May 1895 Malinda Wolf, of Olivesburg, was appointed guardian of Lester, aged 19, Edwin L., aged 17, Charles H., aged 14, and Irwin D. Wolf, aged 8 year.  Bond $800.

15 June 1895 In Probate Court today Della A. Vaughn of this city was declared insane.  Della Baer, wife of Henry Baer, of Washington Township, was also declared insane.  The two patients will be taken to the Toledo Hospital tomorrow.

Mary E. Endly was appointed administratrix of A.J. Endly, deceased.  Bond $600.

20 July 1895 In probate court this morning Susan Zimmerman was adjudged an imbecile and her son, Leonard Zimmerman, was appointed her guardian.
27 July 1895 Peter Smith of Crestline was appointed administrator of Eliza Stephan, deceased.  Bond $600.

Application was made in probate court this afternoon by Philip Pifer for a writ of habeas corpus to get his 12-years-old daughter, Barbara, who was taken away from home by an older daughter, Lena.  While Mr. Pifer was asleep Monday night, Lena took her little sister to Perrysville, Ashland County, where she is now ensconced at the home of J.C. Swasick.

Application was made in probate court today to probate the will of the late Mrs. Carrie B. Thomas, formerly Mrs. Clapp.  Decedent bequeaths to her husband lots 4146, 4147, 4148, 4149 and 4150 in this city and distributes the remainder of the property among her relatives.  It is also required in the will that upon the death of her husband he be buried in the same lot in which she is interred and that a suitable monument be erected at his grave.  J.C. Laser is names as executor.  The hearing of the will has been set for  November 11.

In common please court, Henry J. Secrist has begun an action to contest the will of his sister, Willamina Secrist, in which Amos D. Norris, the executor, is names as sole legatee.  Plaintiff says his sister, who died Oct. 19, 1895, was an imbecile and not mentally capable of making a distribution of her property by will, and that she was coerced into making Norris her sole legatee.
14 December 1895 The will of John Ward was probated.  H.R. Ward and C.C. Ward were appointed executors.  Bond $1,400.

J.W. Ferree was appointed guardian of Robert Ellis, an insane person.
21 December 1895 Frances Ida Jones, widow of decedent was appointed administratrix of the estate of J.A. Jones, deceased.  Bond $14,000.  
Ida C. Frederick was appointed guardian of Clarence H. and Bessie F. Frederick, minor children of John W. Frederick, deceased.  Bond $200.
