	Bud Shortess, a 17-year-old boy, who resides west of the city, was adjudged insane in probate court, Wednesday, by Judge Brinkerhoff, and is now in the county jail.
	Budd Shortess, the 17-year-old boy who was declared insane in probate court and placed in the county jail to await transportation to the Toledo hospital, will be given further examination by order of the court. The boy was struck in the heart when a child and it is stated that he had not been entirely right mentally since that time.

	Bud Shortess, the 17-year-old boy who was tried in Probate Court before Judge Brinkerhoff for insanity, was discharged from the county jail Monday. The doctor pronounced the boy insane and three others said that he was sane. Hence the discharge.
