Mansfield Boys Return From College

The colleges in which Mansfield is represented have all closed for the summer vacation.  The young men who have been enrolled on the college books have returned to the city, either to engaged in business or to pass the summer months in recreation.  During the past year fourteen young men have attended school away from home.  Following is a list of their names and the colleges which they attend:

O.W. Carpenter ... of South Diamond Street, is a Freshman at the Ohio Wesleyan University.  Mr. Carpenter expects to study law at the completion of his course at Delaware.

Howard King ... is a member of the Sophomore class of Wooster University.  He will probably enter a scientific course at the State University next fall.

John Emminger ... attended Wittenberg College part of last year.  He left Springfield about the time of his father's death and did not return on account of ill health, though he may complete his studies there.

Jack Huggins ... is a Freshman in the scientific course at State University.  Jack expects to fit himself for a civil engineer.

James Reed ... is a member of the academic school at Gambier.

Will Coverdale ... has been attending college at Beaver Falls, Pa.  Mr. Coverdale graduates next spring.

Arthur Vennum, Bud Waugh and Herbert Harroun ... are members of the freshman class at Oberlin.

Charles Dickey and Russell Maxwell ... attended college at Beaver Falls, Pa.

Charles Keating .... is a member of Amhurst University.

Will Purdy ... attends the military school at Orchard Lake, Mich.

E.B. Cappeller ... is taking a classical course at the Ohio Wesleyan University.  He is a member of the class of '94.
