The applicants who passed the Boxwell examination held at the Mansfield High School building, April 13, from this township were:

There were 68 applicants and only thirteen passed. Six of the thirteen that passed were from Troy Township. Troy Township was the banner township of the county. This speaks a good word for our teachers. We have the best of teachers to be had. Forty-six per cent that passed were from Troy Township.
