Adam & Katherine Smith

This photo, taken in Mansfield, is Adam Smith and his 2nd wife Katherine.
Adam was born in 1848 in Hesse-Darmstadt, Germany and moved to this
country with his parents in 1850, coming to Mansfield and he lived there
all his life, he died in 1916 at age 68.

In 1870 he married Lavinia Chronister and they had two daughters, Cora
who married Samuel Adams and Minnie who married Norm Fogel.

He married second to Katharine, she was born in 1847 in Germany and died
about 1939 in Mansfield, at age 92.
