MARRIED, At the residence of Mr. Geo. Ealand, on the 9th. inst., by Rev. W.W. Anderson, Mr. Alonzo Myers and Miss Alice A. Ealand, all of Shelby.

MARRIED, At the Lutheran Parsonage, December 2d., 1875, by Rev. D.I. Foust, Mr. George Clark of Ganges, and Mrs. Mary E. Roush of Shelby.

DIED, Daniel Augustine was born in Washington County, Maryland, died in Jackson Twp., Richland County, Ohio, December 7, 1875, aged 80 years, 3 months and 24 days.  Mr. Augustine was known as a good neighbor and respectable citizen, who lived to a ripe old age.  His departure was sudden and unexpected;  having retired as usual in the evening and found dead in his bed in the morning.  Funeral services conducted by Rev. N.H. Loose, were held at his late residence.  Sons, daughters, grandchildren and friends devoutly mourn over the departure of the aged pilgrim, from home and kindred.

Miss Martha Kiner and James Howe were married last Tuesday.

Miss Eliza A. Berlin, aged about forty years, we learn, recently died in Morenci, Michigan, and her remains brought to Rome, this county, for interment.  This was the "little crippled girl" who was around Shelby a good deal last Summer.  We superintended the publication of her send and revised edition of "Earth's Angels", three hundred copies of which yet remain unbound.  The book has been stereotyped -- worth nearly $500, and her friends should work up the matter.

DIED, On last Friday, December 10th., 1875, at the residence of Francis Schiffer, Mr. Lawrence Aulbauch, at the age of 75 years.  The deceased was an uncle to Mrs. Schiffer.  He was a native of Ashaffenburg, Germany, and emigrated with the family of Mr. Schiffer to this country.  He has been sick for several years.  The deceased was a professed Christian, and could scarcely await the time to be united to his Savior, Jesus Christ, whom he loved so ardently.  He always prayed for a happy death, and the Lord granted his prayer.  Peace to his ashes.  Funeral services were held at the Catholic Church, conducted by Rev. Father Schmidt.
