LUCAS -- James McCulley, son of Mrs. C. Welty, was killed by the cars in Chicago, Wednesday evening.  The remains were brought here for interment.  Funeral services were held today.

George Brown and family of Pittsburg were on their way here to spend Thanksgiving when they received word of Mr. McCulley's death.  Mrs. Brown is a sister of the deceased.

J.P. Tidball of C.M. & St. P.R.R., accompanied the remains of James McCulley to his place and remained till after the funeral.
