BELLVILLE -- DEATH:-- August 2nd., 1894, as Lorin G. Bisel was standing on a niche in the stone of Harry Johns quarry, a mass of dirt falling from above dislodged him from his position.  He fell a distance of some ten feet, striking on his head, smashing his skull.  He was conveyed home and only lived one-half hour.  Lorin Gilbert Bisel was born June 9th., 1860, Died August 2nd., 1894, aged 34 years, 1 month and 23 days.  Funeral was held at his home on Friday, Aug. 3, at 4 o'clock, Rev. C.S. Cliff officiating.  He leaves a wife and two children.  Mrs. Bisel desires to thank all friends, neighbors, and especially Mr. and Mrs. Madison Gatton, for their kindness during this her severest trial.
